Nish J. Vartanian
Chairman
Nish Vartanian serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, he oversees MSA Safety’s global business, managed through the company’s two primary business segments, MSA Americas and MSA International, and is responsible for all MSA Safety business initiatives, strategy development and operations throughout. He joined the company in 1985. In May of 2024, Nish will retire as CEO of the company, but he will remain as a company Director on the Board of Directors. Mr. Vartanian also serves on the board of Koppers Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: KOP), the Board of Trustees for the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI); the International Association of Fire Fighters Foundation; and the Allegheny Conference on Community Development. He is also a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Pittsburgh Branch.
